What does it meant to be inspired? To be inspired is to be “in spirit” or in harmony with your goal.
Psychologist Abraham Maslow said that it is only the awareness of self that needs to change for our life to change. Only the awareness. Isn’t that interesting?
Often we are waylaid by obstacles. We tell ourselves that we need to “try find the time” to work towards our desire. By saying this we are in effect believing it can’t happen and therefore doing nothing. We make no change whatsoever.
When we are aware that we possess the power for great change that is when the change happens. When we put all of our thoughts and everything we do into achieving our goal, there is no way it cannot come to fruition.
We must only open our minds. We must “make space” in our mind and life and things will inevitably change. Yoda had it right when he said, “Do, or do not. There is no try.”
I am inspired to use my talents to help others. Helping deserving organizations grow their funds so that they can do more good is the way I am in harmony with myself and the world. When I conduct an auction for a non-profit organization whose mission is to help those in need I put everything I have toward the goal. Those who attend see the event and the bidding as their opportunity to create change in the world. We are working in harmony to make change happen. This is why every benefit auction I conduct leaves me bursting with gratitude, awe and hope.
Each day is filled with opportunity for us to move closer to our goals. We need only to open ourselves to the awareness.
As a leading benefit auctioneer, I am dedicated to helping deserving organizations across the country meet and exceed their fundraising goals. Take your non-profit auction to the next level. Contact Karen Sorbo Auctions.
